Ahok Back Apologizes Publicly
Candidates for Governor (Cagub) Jakarta Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) once again apologized publicly against Muslims. It was related to accusations of blasphemy against him.
"I ask all Muslims. I actually have absolutely no intention of
debasing religion because I was raised in a Muslim environment," said
Ahok in a talk show on a private television station in West Jakarta,
Saturday (19/11) night.
He
felt that at this time because the words in the Thousand Islands which
is considered an insult to religion makes this nation the threat of
disintegration. The continuity of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) be under threat
because of the diversity or diversity become a problem, is no longer
adhesive for this nation.
" All because Ahok. I was labeled as a blasphemer. This is already happening. Again, I apologize," said cagub's number two.
He confirms with what happened to him, would be a matter of introspection. Events that occur will make it more carefully again in the future. He also did not want to talk much anymore because nothing must always be questioned.
Despite the shadow of impending split, he believes the majority of Indonesian society still wants Homeland stay upright. He
believed the Indonesian people still want to live in the diversity of
this nation is the appropriate motto Unity in Diversity. That is, different but still one.
